A lovely cat found alone wandering around the forest in the fields of central Brittany, France, is rescued by a couple of bikers who went by and heard her.
The married couple was on a typical bike ride in the woods when they heard a loud noise coming from the bushes. They both stopped to check what was going on and encountered the small kitty that was wandering alone in the woods.
Celine and her husband Daniel initially believed it was a bird, but the loud sounds were actually meows of help from the cat.
Celine stated:
“We were riding along a fairly calm road through a forest with no buildings around when we heard a loud squeak coming from a fern on the side of the road.”
At the moment, the kitten was terrified and distressed, and she refused to approach the husband and wife duo, even attempting to flee.
To gain the trust of the small kitty, the woman had no choice but to sit on the floor and talk calmly to her. After a time, the cat recognized that the pair didn’t intend to injure her and approached Celine, who lavished her with embraces.
Celine also stated:
“She wouldn’t let me go. She continued climbing on top of me (with his claws) and crying. We knew we had to try to take her home.”
The journey home was long, but Daniel placed it under his T-shirt to keep it safe. However, because the kitten was restless and incessantly wanting to go outside, they decided to return home without her.
They left her in a hiding place and returned home quickly to return in their car, hoping that the feline would not move away.
When they got home, they grabbed a cardboard box and dashed into the woods as soon as they could.
Celine elaborated.
“She came out of hiding and ran towards me as soon as I got out of the car and called her.”
The adorable kitten rushed into Celine’s arms and began to climb, as if to indicate that she was eager to accompany them home.
Her request was granted, and the first night in her new house was spent grooming Daniel as a thank-you.
Mini Kitty, the kitten, acclimated to her new environment over the following four days, feeding like a champ and resting frequently to replenish energy. No matter what she did, she was always close to Celine and Daniel.
